Children are an important part of our worshiping community.

​

At the Reformed Church of Locust Valley, we believe children grow in faith as they worship with us, hear the stories of Scripture, ask questions, pray, and experience the love of Christ through the life of the church.

Sunday Story Circle

Sunday Story Circle is offered for children ages 3–10 on selected Sundays during the sermon portion of our 10am worship.

Children begin worship with their families before being invited to Story Circle, where we follow a simple rhythm:

• Hear one of God’s stories 

• Wonder together 

• Pray together 

• Grow in hope and God’s love 

Our hope is that every child will come to know four enduring truths:

God loves me.
God is faithful.
Even when life is hard, because God is faithful, I can have hope.
I belong in God’s story.

Children return to worship with their families before the end of the service.

Every Sunday

Age-appropriate Children’s Worship Bulletins and activity materials are available each Sunday to help children listen, wonder, and engage with the stories and themes of worship.
